Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known character is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a semester in the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for several years, before taking on film and television role. Anna had her first big role as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. Anna continued appearing in films and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of 1990's. Anna was later cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. The mid-2000's saw her was placed in Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully and Deadwood are also a part of her acting career. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. The year 2022 saw Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play series known as "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in the relationship he has with Skyler is mirrored in the show.
